The Troupe had a very busy holiday season this year. We made the rounds of local nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and our own West Windsor Senior Center, presenting our upbeat Holiday Program dressed in new holiday costumes. We left each performance feeling wonderful! 'Tis the Season to give back! We'll be adding to our repertoire over the winter and performing again come spring.

On March 13th, the Syncopations Dance Club sponsored a fun evening celebrating our community's diversity. We brought the house down with our festive performance. Bedecked with genuine Mardi Gras beads, we danced and then distributed our beads to the enthusiastic audience. What fun!

February 19th: BEAR CREEK ASSISTED LIVING in West Windsor is right near the community in which we all live. So it was really convenient to go out on a cold night and give a warm performance to an eager crowd!

During the afternoon of January 31st, our troupe performed at MORRIS HALL in Lawrenceville. Our biggest audience to-date attended our performance, about 50 people. Many sang along, followed our hand movements, tapped their feet. Some of the ladies in the first row were definitey eyeing Joel! Again, we had a great time. After the show, many residents told us how much they appreciated our visit.

January 8th: PAVILLIONS AT FORRESTAL was our destination. It was going to be a big night, as we were booked for two performances, back to back, in different parts of the facility. Could we do it? January 10th: This snowy Saturday we debated about visiting CAREONE in East Brunswick because of the weather conditions. The snow let up and we figured we'd give it a try. And we did it again! We performed for a bigger, very responsive crowd and had as good a time entertaining them as they did watching us. Would you believe...right after we all got home that day, the snow started falling again!

Our first "gig" was on January 8th, 2009, at ARCADIA NURSING & REHABILITATION CENTER in Hamilton, NJ. Some Troupe members were nervous about performing in front of an audience, especially this special audience. But that nervousness soon disappeared!
